Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy explains how VertexCloud ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website or use our GPU cloud services. We aim to keep this short, readable, and honest.
01Information we collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate our services and respond to your requests.
- Information you provide: name, work email, organization, and any details you include when requesting a pricing quote or contacting support.
- Account & usage data: if you become a customer, we collect billing information, instance metadata, and aggregate usage telemetry (GPU hours, region, instance type).
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, and pages visited — collected via standard server logs.
02How we use information
- To respond to pricing requests and customer support enquiries.
- To provision, operate, secure, and meter your use of our infrastructure.
- To send service-related communications (outages, maintenance, invoices).
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use customer workloads or data stored on our infrastructure for any purpose other than operating the service you requested.
03Lawful bases (UK / EU)
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following lawful bases: contract performance (provisioning services), legitimate interests (running and securing our business), legal obligation, and your consent (where we ask for it explicitly).
04Sharing
We share information with a limited set of trusted parties: payment processors, identity and fraud-prevention providers, infrastructure vendors operating on our behalf, and our auditors. Each is bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations. We disclose information to authorities only when legally compelled.
05Data retention
Pricing-enquiry records are retained for up to 24 months. Customer account, billing, and audit-log records are retained for the duration of the relationship and for the period required by tax, accounting, and compliance obligations — typically up to 7 years after the relationship ends.
06Security
VertexCloud is audited to SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Customer workloads run on bare-metal nodes with hardware root-of-trust. Access to production systems is gated by hardware-key MFA and reviewed quarterly.
07Cookies
This website uses a small number of strictly-necessary cookies for session management and security. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. If we add analytics in future, it will be privacy-respecting and disclosed here before activation.
08Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
09International transfers
VertexCloud operates data centers in the US, EU, and APAC. Where personal data leaves the UK/EU, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or equivalent safeguards.
10Changes
We will update this policy as our services evolve. Material changes will be announced via email to active customers and at the top of this page. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
11Contact
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to hello@vertexcloud.xyz. UK and EU residents may also contact their supervisory authority.
